The Datsun company was a well reputed automobile company that put real deal to the market. From its predecessor Datsun 320, Datsun skipped 420 designation completely to make way for the true successor the Datsun 520. This pickup from Datsun that was built from 1965 until 1969 was a great deal at that time, but now, its slow as a tortoise in comparison to the latest generation of pickup vehicle.
Under the hood, Datsun 520 used 1.3 liter, 67 hp Nissan J13 engine. As for the looks, this pickup was much like other ordinary pick up except for the fact tat it had only two single headlights at first, but it was later redesigned in 1967 which gave a twin headlight to this pickup. Later down the line, it shifted its engine to 1.6 liter L16 engine (Then it was renamed to Datsun 521).
It is, even today, a great deal for anyone who has low budget and want a real truck like strength. Considering the fact that it is slow in comparison, no one is really stepping forward in buying it. Datsun completely stopped the manufacturing of Datsun 520 and 521 because of the problem that it was no longer selling well.
