Produced for the first time in 1994, the Kubota L2900 is a compact utility tractor ideal for a wide range of farming, estate maintenance and landscaping activities. The Japanese tractor & heavy equipment manufacturer decided to end the tractor production in 1999. The last premium model was the Kubota L2900 GST and came with better features than the base model.
The L2900 comes with a category 1 three-point point hitch and a number of attachments, including mowing deck, snoblower, blade, front-end loader and backhoe. As for the engine, the tractor has a 1.5-liter 3-cyl. diesel powertrain capable of generating 32 hp and a large amount of torque. The PTO has a power output of 25 hp.
Concerning specifications, the Kubota L2900 has a fuel and hydraulic capacity of 9.2 gal and 10.3 gal respectively. Its wheelbase measures 65.9 inches while the sizes of its front and rear wheels are 5.00-15 and 11.2-24 respectively. It uses a hydrostatic power steering, wet disc brakes and a 12-volt battery. Moreover, the tractor weighs 2710 pounds.
