I'm very much a supporter of the idea, I've been reading the stuff so
far, without contributing myself, and I will admit, a lot of it goes
over my head. Still, The current situation with OOXML makes it all to
clear that a project like openiso is an idea that needs to be
implemented.
I'm primarily a web developer, so feel free to contact me if you would
like me to do something, I'm involved in a lot of projects, and am happy
to do it free for a good cause.
As to input on the process, I would say, echoing others, the main thing
is transparency. Everyone can see why things are done.
As to a "OpenISO.org Problem Report on OOXML" document - This is the big
thing which has gotten people upset, using this to further the cause is
probably a good strategy, but we shouldn't rely only on this. Still, it
would be good to use this as a set of reasons why the problems would not
exist with OpenISO, as a case you can say, rather than just
hypothesising stuff could have happened, or happen in the future.
