Yes, definitely -- while we could create a separate OOXML
working-group mailing list, I think that that'd probably
not be a helpful step at the current stage.

Yes, and as a matter of fact, the topic has been discussed quite
a bit in a very large number of fora, from various perspectives.  

Of course I appreciate SIUG getting a little publicity (thanks,
Claude :-), but actually I believe that Michael's question was about
whether in the OpenISO.org context the right place for posting
comments regarding OOXML is this list.  I believe that this the
case,  together with the http://F29500.OpenISO.org wiki (where you
all can become "members" by means of the password which is: open
thereby gaining posting rights.)


I would suggest using the wiki for collecting work-item and
other information, while using the mailing list for making remarks
that you'd like us all to see, and perhaps react to, right away.
