So is Yochai Benkler's The Wealth Of Networks at

. Explanation on how they've done it and how others can do it in
http://www.jus.uio.no/sisu/

Maybe ECMA / MS could be asked to do the same from their original
files? I think SISU (Structured information, Serialized Units ) is a
great idea, the problem is that I don't understand the tech
explanation.

See above: I think MS/ECMA should be asked to do it - either with the
software used for The Subversion Book or with SISU - as a matter of
principle.
