Broken promises regarding OOXML's maintenance and future development

Problem description:

The members of various national standardization bodies have been
assured that future maintenance and further development of OOXML
would take place at ISO/IEC JTC1 outside the control of Microsoft
and Ecma.

In view of the proposed "Joint Maintenance Plan", that appears
to be very far from the truth

Expected impact:

The disinformation has been widely believed.

Possible solution:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This disinformation will gradually fade away if OOXML is rejected by
ISO/IEC JTC 1.
